Attorney at law Martin J. Milita is a seasoned government affairs strategist and business executive with decades of leadership experience spanning regulatory advocacy, corporate governance, and public policy. As senior director of Duane Morris Government Strategies LLC (DMGS), Martin J. Milita leads a government relations and public affairs firm representing Fortune 500 companies, public agencies, social service organizations, and private enterprises. His expertise includes legislative and regulatory lobbying, business development, crisis communications, and public procurement.
Prior to DMGS, Martin J. Milita was a managing partner with Holman Public Affairs LLC in Trenton, New Jersey. He co-founded the full-service government affairs company in 2001 and was part of it until 2012. He supported clients in winning multi-million-dollar contracts and successfully lobbied for business-friendly legislation in fields such as insurance, banking, and solid waste management.
Before going into government affairs work, Martin J. Milita was the CEO of Fiore Group Companies, Inc., a solid waste collection and transportation company. He oversaw operations across eleven New Jersey counties, driving growth, operational excellence, and strategic acquisitions. Early in his career, he worked as an attorney at law with Sills Cummis et al and Riker Danzig et al. He was also New Jersey State Deputy Attorney General serving as Chief of Tax Fraud.
Mr. Milita earned his JD from Temple University School of Law, and has a BA in political science from King’s College. Mr. Milita is a life member of the New Jersey Naval Militia Foundation, the 24th Infantry Division Association, and the Knights of Columbus.
